JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

Eric John Wynne: Phoenix Logistics is an international freight forwarder specializing in the optimization of supply chain, logistics, warehousing and distribution of freight. 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

Eric John Wynne: We specialize in handling DAP/DDP shipments. Phoenix is also a registered customs broker license holder. We have the expertise to handle all types of customs clearance and forwarding activities. Our success is founded on the high degree of customer care provided by our skilled team combined with the use of leading-edge information technology. We have our own customs broker license,

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

Eric John Wynne: Logistics business is challenging!! To run a successful business, one needs to have Passion and Motivation, Discipline and Dedication along with Adaptability and flexibility.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

Eric John Wynne: According to an economic survey, Indian Logistics industry is expected to touch USD 215 billion by 2020, from the current levels of USD 160. The Indian logistics industry which provides employment to more than 22 million people has grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.8 per cent during the last five years. The Global Ranking of the World Bank's 2016 Logistics Performance Index shows that India jumped to 35th rank in 2016 from 54th rank in 2014 in terms of overall logistics performance. 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

Eric John Wynne: Our experience has taught us to invest more of our resources in networking. We ae constantly looking for like-minded global partners to support and grow together. We hope in the year 2020, Phoenix will go global, by opening overseas offices nearer to the client, thereby providing one stop shop services

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

Eric John Wynne: GCP membership gives us a sense of security, when we work with other GCP members we don’t need to worry on the payments. It also gives us more chances to get new business as overseas partners prefer to work with GCP members for the same reason.

JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

Eric John Wynne: Building a relationship takes time. It is like investment in stocks and shares.!! Meeting the client and talking to them often, understanding their requirements, caring for their business as much as we care for ours helps to build a bonding between Phoenix and the clients.
