MSC's large container ship "MSC Ariane" may not arrive at the Port of Los Angeles as scheduled on April 24.
The MSC Ariane container ship deployed to Pearl service was forced to stay at sea on April 2 after an engine issue caused by bad fuel quality on its way from Xiamen, China, to Los Angeles, MSC said in a client inquiry.
The ship has since been transferred to Wakayama, Japan, for repairs.
In addition, MSC said in its customer consultation that "due to congestion in the Los Angeles area, they are expecting to make adjustments to the original berthing schedule." MSC Ariane was scheduled to berth in Los Angeles on April 24.
According to the information, MSC Ariane has a capacity of 13,050 TEU and is deployed on the 2M Alliance AE1/TP6 route.
In addition to MSC, the shipping companies sharing shipping space are Alianca, Hamburg Sud, Hapag-Lloyd, Maersk, MCC, Safmarine, Seago, Sealand.
Freight forwarders who have cargo stowage on this ship recently paid attention to it, and paid timely attention to the information of the shipping company and ship dynamics to understand the latest situation.
