Mr Blaz Mavsar CCO & Co-Founder
    2hm logistics(SLOVENIA)

JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

Mr Blaz Mavsar: 2hm logistics Europe is fast growing company in central Europe, that is headquartered near Port of Koper, which is shortest route from Asia to central Europe. We believe in a philosophy “small teams, skilled people”by which company is not doing only regular FCL work, but is also specialized in different sectors.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

Mr Blaz Mavsar: Our core strengths, are surely based on knowledge and ambition. Company is ISO9001, ISO14001 and AEO(F) certified to name a few standards that we are achieving every year along with regularly accepted memberships in logistics networks. We have divided sectors within company, and one of our core strengths is to have our own trucking department and customs guarantee.

Our head office is near port of Koper, which is a shortest route from Asia to Central Europe, and through our offices in Slovenia, Slovakia and Poland, we are covering vast European area. It is worth mentioning, that team speaks also more than 10 European languages which of course, speeds up communication with clients of our agents.

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

Mr Blaz Mavsar: As any business, business is worth only as much as people who are doing it. So we are putting extra care, on relationships while company is investing regularly into new knowledges and certifications. We must understand, that if we want exceptional results from people, first step is that company show exceptional attitude towards people who work within 2hm logistics in Europe. We call this “Reverse Happiness Chain”, as the best results we can offer you, are those that consignee or shipper of your client is happy.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

Mr Blaz Mavsar: Situation in our area is quite stabilized, and work continues more or less normally. Of course it was a great effort by logistics community in general, that we stepped together and prepared alternative plans how to avoid bigger delays. So, in general, I would say situation, given the circumstances is good, which is visible also by business increase in this year.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

Mr Blaz Mavsar: Our strategy for foreign markets outside of Europe, is to work with agents within the network. We are investing in expansions and better products, but we remain solely focused on Europe, and we want to keep it that way, as we believe that with specialization on these markets we will bring better added value for our partners, and secondary to ourselves of course. We are following the idea to act local, think global. And when you think about it, you have to think also about emotions, and how it can affect relationships. With JC Trans agents, we gain much more while, our partner agents know that they can be calm, that their partner is European based, and is growing with their support, but through its domestic markets.

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

Mr Blaz Mavsar: It would be simply ignorant, business wise, to sidetrack Asian economy, especially China which is achieving mesmerizing milestones in every sector within last 20 years. We have great relationships in Asia, and we are happy that we see agents of JC Trans, that they are satisfied with cooperation, and that it is growing.

JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

Mr Blaz Mavsar: It is very simple, we put a lot of focus on humanity. And with that, it is self-explanatory, that it includes open discussions, transparency and fair and respectable relationship. We might be a little “old school” in this way, but we have received numerous gratitude compliments, about how rare it is nowadays, to have support also through rainy days, not only when everything is ok. And this gives us boost, to come to our offices and simply do better than yesterday, as logistics surely is not a race, much more marathon like industry.
